Abstract

This article examines the legal challenges posed by blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in Indonesia. Through normative and comparative analysis of existing regulations, it identifies gaps in consumer protection and financial stability. The study proposes a balanced regulatory framework that supports innovation while mitigating risks such as money laundering. Findings suggest the need for amendments to current laws to accommodate decentralized systems. This analysis contributes to the development of adaptive legal policies in emerging technologies.
